Dell sees positives in IT, but PC market still falling

After posting a 63% drop in quarterly profit on a 23% reduction in revenue, Dell this week said that the slumping PC market has yet to turn around, despite signs of life in other parts of the IT sector. For Dell, the results mark the third consecutive quarter of down sales and profits, which the company blamed on continually weak business IT spending.
