FCC offers rural broadband road map

In a report released Wednesday by acting FCC Chairman Michael Copps, the agency laid out its suggested strategy for moving forward on the Obama administration's rural broadband plan. Among the recommendations, Copps suggested increasing cooperation between government and local groups, mapping areas where broadband is currently available and educating rural residents about the benefits of broadband service.
