OB nurses get training in advanced cardiac life support

Shore Memorial Hospital in New Jersey is preparing its obstetrical nurses for cardiac emergencies, even though such events in obstetrics are rare. Two nurses received training and certification in advanced cardiac life support with a focus on obstetrics. They plan to share their clinical knowledge with co-workers at Shore and other health care facilities in the area.
