ECB members are split on a recent slump of the euro

Policymakers at the European Central Bank took different stances on this week's slide of the euro, which has dropped more than 15% since January. One touted the euro's drop as helpful to the economy, while another said the volatility is unwelcome. The comments are unlikely to help the euro, analysts said, and they suggest a currency intervention is not in the works.
