Journal examines beverage, health trends

The journal Physiology & Behavior recently published an entire issue on beverages and health, including a study on dairy consumption and energy and one on alcohol, appetite and weight. Researchers on a study on patterns of beverage consumption found a shift to increased levels of sugar-sweetened beverages and alcohol, increased juice intake, and limited amounts of reduced-fat milk and continued consumption of whole milk.
