New concrete line resists cracking

BASF Construction Chemicals has developed a new type of crack-resistant concrete that could change the landscape of the construction industry. The company said its "ZERO-C" concrete line is a more durable alternative to the mortars that conventionally repair historic structures. "This is like finding the cure for cancer for our industry," said Peter Emmons, founder and CEO of Structural Preservation Systems.
