Suitcase guru offers tips on traveling light

Doug Dyment says bag-check fees aren't the only reasons for taking a single carry-on bag when flying. Packing light also allows greater flexibility with flight changes and easier ground transport, he argues. His website, which gets about 3,500 visitors daily, lists many suggestions for traveling with a single bag. One tip: Don't buy wheeled bags, which have less interior space and typically are heavier than non-wheeled models.
