Weight gain boosts brain volume for anorexia patients

Anorexia nervosa's negative effect on brain volume may be reversed when patients with the eating disorder gain weight, research showed. Gray matter volume improved for women in the study who gained pounds, but it did not return to normal levels, the study said.
