Cessna successfully flies new plane designed for jet-A

The Cessna 182 JT-A Turbo Skylane was designed specifically to fly on jet-A fuel. The company recently flew the first production example of the airplane. During the flight, which lasted a little over two hours, the plane demonstrated improved fuel efficiency, burning 11 gallons per hour at 227 horsepower.
