Illinois legislation that would expand gambling faces tax issue

A gambling expansion bill in Illinois is being held up because lawmakers haven't been able to agree on how much casinos should pay the state in taxes. The legislators have several days to resolve the issue before the spring session ends. Under the current bill, casinos earning the highest level of revenue would face a 50% tax rate.
