Kobo's e-readership climbs to 14.5M

Kobo added 2.5 million customers in the first quarter, bringing its roster of registered users to 14.5 million, the e-reader company says. Meanwhile, users read 34% more compared with Q1 of 2012. Kobo founder Indigo Books & Music sold its interest in the company to Japan's Rakuten last year for $315 million.
