Nutrient-rich seaweed good for supplements, study says

Researchers said red and brown types of seaweed are high in nutrients and could be used for dietary supplements or food ingredients, according to a study to be published in Biomedicine & Preventive Nutrition. The report said seaweed is a good source of amino acids, fiber, carbohydrates, protein and vitamin C.
