OPDP discusses common violations, status of enforcement priorities in recent update


At a recent enforcement update webinar, representatives from the FDA’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion said they cited many of the same violations that they have in the past – overstating efficacy, minimizing or omitting risk and making unsubstantiated claims – and discussed where OPDP stands on issuing online promotion guidance and enforcing misbranding violations in the wake of the U.S. v.
