Program offers grants to boost interoperability in Mass.

A $1.5 million Mass HIway Vendor Interface Grant Program was unveiled by the Massachusetts eHealth Institute to boost statewide interoperability by advancing the connection of EHRs to the Mass HIway, the state's health information exchange. The competitive initiative is open to vendors that support big organizations and hospitals in Massachusetts. Grants will amount to as much as $150,000, and the deadline to apply is June 17.
