South Korean real estate rally fizzles out

After a rally that began in January, South Korea's real estate market has swung back to contraction, with sales prices of reconstructed residential apartments down 5 basis points between May 20 and 24, according to broker Real Estate 114. A government stimulus package announced last month that fed the latter stages of the rally appears to have played out, analysts say.
