Telemedicine lets Ohio providers extend stroke care to rural areas

Telemedicine efforts launched by OhioHealth and Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center are enabling neurologists to examine stroke patients in rural areas remotely and discuss the best course of treatment with local emergency-department doctors. Both health groups are working to extend their telemedicine networks to include more in-state hospitals.
