Chicago Cubs to move forward with outfield signage

Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts has ended negotiations with the Wrigleyville Rooftop Association and said he'll move forward with a $300 million renovation plan that will involve seven new outfield signs, including two video boards. The association objects to the plan, which it says violates a 20-year agreement inked in 2004 that prohibits the team from putting up windscreens and other barriers that block rooftop views.
