Australian business travelers have incentives to join Emirates' Skywards status rather than stick with the Qantas loyalty program side of the two airlines' alliance. That's because among the extras at the highest tiers of the programs are access to Qantas Clubs and Qantas business class lounges when flying internationally, along with priority boarding, generous luggage allowances, and even a small-but-pleasant perk: Getting your favorite drinks brought to you, without having to order them, as soon as you board a plane.
