Grenade prompts terminal closure at LAX

Transportation Security Administration officers at Los Angeles International Airport discovered a World War II-era grenade in a passenger's carry-on luggage, prompting police to close Terminal 1 for about 35 minutes. The owner of the grenade told police he thought the explosive was inert, but an official from the Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad said it may have been live.
