Nintendo plans revenue-sharing program for YouTube clips

Nintendo has announced an advertising affiliate program on YouTube intended to give the company a piece of the revenue that video creators earn from ads on videos that feature copyrighted Nintendo material. "Plenty of publishers and developers already give YouTube producers full permission to make clips and to put ads in front of them. This move could disrupt that," Jeffrey Grubb writes.
