Study: Telephone heart checks could offer big savings

A pilot project in England indicates that heart checks made over the telephone with hand-held ECG devices at clinics helped detect those who truly needed medical help and those who only had chest pain. The six-month trial concludes that the devices could save England's NHS millions of dollars.
