Scottsdale Airport begins drafting strategic plan

The Scottsdale Airport has hired a consultant to help draft a strategic plan for the airport's future. The Arizona airport has faced increased competition from other regional airports since the completion of state highway 101 linked Scottsdale to Glendale and the northern edge of Phoenix. "The corporate clientele that frequents Scottsdale will have more choices insofar as which general aviation airport they fly into," said Kim Hanna, Scottsdale Airport's assistant aviation director.
