Airbus addresses A380 wing issues

Airbus is addressing cracks in the wings of its A380 that appeared despite around 5,000 hours of flight testing. "Fuel pressure and temperature conditions were not fully simulated," said Tom Williams, Airbus executive vice president for programs. For example, extreme temperatures in the Middle East exceeded testing requirements.
