CDC: Children consuming fewer calories from soda

Soda intake among U.S. children fell by 67 calories daily in 2010 compared with 2000, CDC data showed. Researchers also found children and adults consumed less sugar from beverages with meals and snacks in 2010 than in 2000. The findings appear in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
