Farmers plant crops on old golf courses

High prices for corn and soybeans are causing farmers to plant more crops wherever they can, including former golf courses. Clark Kelly bought up the defunct Hend-Co-Hills Golf Course near Biggsville, Ill., for $775,000 in order to turn 80 of its acres into a cornfield.
