N.D. governor names director of proposed UAV test site

North Dakota has committed $1 million in promotional costs and $4 million in operational costs toward its effort to become one of six Federal Aviation Administration test sites for unmanned aerial vehicles. Gov. Jack Dalrymple recently announced that Col. Robert Becklund, a former North Dakota Air National Guard commander, will be the director of the proposed site.
