NYC electric company aims to protect its infrastructure

Consolidated Edison, the electric power company that serves New York City and some northern suburbs, managed to get some new storm protection into place before this year's hurricane season begins June 1. The next big storm will have to get past a mile of concrete walls and steel gates to make it to the substations put out of service by Superstorm Sandy's flooding.
