Pentagon signs 3 biofuel planning contracts totaling $16M

The Department of Defense awarded three biofuel-makers contracts totaling $16 million for planning work on biorefineries that could supply at least 150 million gallons of drop-in military biofuels for less than $4 per gallon. Contractors Emerald Biofuels, Fulcrum Brighton Biofuels and Natures BioReserve will invest $17 million in the planning process.
