Private companies' default risk is down, report says

The average default risk at private companies dropped 1 percentage point last month compared with April 2012, to 4.1%, according to Sageworks. Businesses are faring better financially, with net profit margin reaching 6.8%, compared with 4.3% a year earlier, the researcher says.
