ShopRite will anchor N.J. mixed-use project

A shopping center under development in Newark, N.J., will be anchored by a ShopRite instead of a Wal-Mart, as previously planned. Mayor Cory Booker, who is running for the U.S. Senate, reportedly favors the switch. New Jersey's Wakefern Food plans to build a 67,000-square-foot ShopRite store.
