Site analysis begins at $5B, 1,000-turbine Wyo. wind project

The Power Co. of Wyoming has started conducting a detailed analysis of each turbine site for the proposed 1,000-turbine Chokecherry and Sierra Madre wind project. The analysis started in April and is expected to continue through the rest of the year. The company hopes to begin construction on the project near the end of 2014, and have it up and running by around 2019.
