Study: U.S. engineering jobs to grow as IT globalization flattens

Well-compensated engineering jobs should be somewhat more abundant in the U.S. over the next few years as the export of information technology work grinds to a halt, according to a study by Jones Lang LaSalle. In the near future, the U.S. should see regionalization of technology jobs, with companies designing and producing products where they're based, said Greg Matter, a vice president at Jones.
