Volcker takes aim at regulatory agencies

Paul Volcker, former chairman of the Federal Reserve, has taken on inflation, the largest banks in the nation, and now he plans to focus on federal regulatory agencies. Volcker plans to highlight challenges to regulatory reform, including the slow pace in which authorities have implemented the Dodd-Frank Act. "I've gotten concerned by the seeming impotence of federal regulatory agencies," Volcker said. "Too many agencies overlapping, too many opportunities for delay."
