House budget bill proposes cuts to the TSA

The Transportation Security Administration will have to absorb budget cuts if the House Appropriations Committee's 2015 budget is passed by Congress. The bill would give the TSA $4.6 billion, cutting more than $300 million, or 6%, from the agency's budget. The cuts include a $26.3 million reduction of funds for TSA personnel and a $39 million cut to funding for TSA headquarters.
