Iranian hackers accused in sophisticated cyberespionage ring

Iranian hackers have engaged in a three-year phishing campaign targeting high-ranking U.S. officials in an effort to gather intelligence, such as the efforts designed to undermine Iran's nuclear program, investigators say. According to the allegations -- which were revealed by security firm iSight Partners -- hackers used popular social media sites, including Facebook and LinkedIn, to gain access to secure credentials.
