New robotic muscle designed for competitions

Rise Robotics uses a conical differential drive rather than a cylinder to achieve efficient mechanical advantage for its new Cyclone Muscle. It's the company's first product, designed as a low-cost linear actuator that Rise hopes will win the favor in robotics competitions, where its abilities can be quickly put to use and demonstrated.
