Scathing report puts fresh pressure on VA chief

Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric K. Shinseki is under renewed pressure to resign after a scathing independent report found that VA officials had falsified records to downplay the time veterans waited for medical appointments. The White House did not say whether Shinseki still had the president's confidence, but some Democrats began to speak out against the embattled VA chief.
