Microsoft, AOL Time Warner reach a deal

Microsoft yesterday said it will pay AOL Time Warner $750 million to settle an antitrust dispute over Netscape technology. Under the agreement, AOL will receive a royalty-free, seven-year license for Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser.
