Rite Aid ordered to pay for erroneous advice pamphlet

A Baltimore jury ordered Rite Aid to pay $250,000 to a woman who alleges the pharmacy's advice pamphlet said it was OK for her to take her Lyme disease medication with milk, which she says inhibited the drug's effect. The jury did not find Rite Aid negligent, but did say it "breached express warranty." Both the verdict and the award are being appealed.
