Study: Antioxidant supplements ease pancreatic pain

A recent study found that a daily regime of antioxidant vitamins can decrease the incidence of pain associated with pancreatitis. Patients treated for six months with daily supplements of vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, selenium, and methionine reported less pain and less use of narcotics than did those treated with placebos.
