Tennessee student asks legislators to reconsider exit exams

A Memphis student with a learning disability who passed all of her courses but failed part of her exit exam has been barred from college because of the modified diploma she received. Latricia Wilson pleaded with Tennessee legislators to abolish the exam or offer students with disabilities an alternative assessment so that perhaps someday she can be accepted into college.
