GE, Schlumberger to work together on carbon capture

Two U.S. industry giants combined forces this week to advance the goal of "clean" coal energy. General Electric Co. and Schlumberger Ltd. announced they will work together to develop technology for carbon sequestration storage, which is considered key to reducing harmful emissions from coal-burning power plants.
