Experts find low diabetes screening rates among minority groups

A study in Diabetes Care found that more than 40% of patients from ethnic groups including blacks and Latinos weren't screened for diabetes though they should have been. The findings suggest that increased screenings for diabetes are needed to improve patient care among members of minority groups, an expert said.
