LAN says it will expand globally with or without TAM

Should a Chilean anti-trust tribunal rule against its proposed merger with Brazil's TAM airlines, Chile's LAN airline will seek out another partner to expand globally. "We will look for a 'second best' (partner)," said LAN's CEO Ignacio Cueto. However, it appears that LAN will get its merger approval early next year.
