Buddy program enhances school culture in Fla. middle school

Select eighth-graders at Davidson Middle School in Crestview, Fla., work with special-education students as peer buddies, escorting them around school and offering other support. Besides enhancing learning for students, school officials said the program has helped reduce bullying of students with disabilities.
