Business combination concerns get FASB's attention

Various stakeholder concerns that surfaced during a recent post-implementation review of the Financial Accounting Standards Board's business combinations standard will be considered by the board, according to a response released Thursday. Concerns raised in the review will be taken into account during projects that already are under way, and FASB will wait for the completion of more reviews before taking standard-setting action.
