Eurozone business and consumer sentiment has risen slightly this month. The European Commission's Economic Sentiment Indicator registered 89.4 for May, up from April's 88.6. "With economic sentiment ... starting to turn up again, hopes will be rising that the eurozone could exit recession in the second half of this year. But we shouldn't get overexcited here," said Martin van Vliet, an economist at ING Bank.
