FAA asks pilots to commit to safe flying

In an open letter to members of the general aviation community, Administrator Michael Huerta of the Federal Aviation Administration asked pilots to make a personal commitment to safe flying. The letter suggested a number of steps pilots can take toward safety, including brushing up on their skills with an instructor and communicating with other pilots about safety.
