Is mobile technology destroying workplace etiquette?

Nearly two-thirds of surveyed chief information officers say they have witnessed a decline in traditional office manners as mobile devices have become more rooted in the workplace. The poll of 2,300 CIOs by Robert Half Technology found that while smartphones have helped boost overall productivity, they also have a tendency to lure users off task and lead them to engage in rude behavior, such as checking e-mail while someone is talking or not silencing a phone's ringer during a meeting.
