One-of-a-kind food events, late-night dinners attract millennial patrons

Restaurants are dishing out late-night specials and unique food events designed to attract hip, younger patrons. Lincoln Restaurant in Portland, Ore., typically hosts food and wine pairing events but added a party with a local small-batch ice cream shop to attract younger customers. "The wine dinner has been done so many times," said co-owner David Welch. Whereas "collaborative diners with unique purveyors" tend to interest younger guests.
